The Main Entrance leads students, faculty, and visitors to the Upper School front lobby, which is anchored by the "Fishbowl" reception desk where visitors can sign in or get information about the school.
The Bradford Building is the hub of the Upper School campus, offering communal spaces for Upper School students, including the Commons and Community Room on the first floor, and the Theater foyer on the second floor. The Commons serves as both the lunch area and a social space where you will find students working or meeting throughout the day.
The Almy Building is the location of the Upper School Director's Office and the Dean of Student's Office on the first floor, and the Charles & Elizabeth Almy Library on the second floor.
Originally the home to the Browne & Nichols School for boys, the Main Building contains classrooms, faculty offices, the Nurse's Office, and Student Support Offices.
Whether it be an Upper School theatrical production, a Grade 10 All-Star Debate, or a talk from a prominent alum, the Upper School Theater offers seating for nearly 200 audience members to enjoy.
A transformative addition opened in 2007, Renaissance Hall contains numerous classrooms, offices, gathering spaces, music rooms, and art studios within its three stories. Its curved facade forms one of the boundaries for a popular outdoor courtyard space for students. The Head of School's office is located on the first floor.
The Wood Studio is perhaps the most historic, distinctive building on the Upper School campus. It is home (of course!) to the Arts Department's woodworking classes, which are one of the most legacy-filled, beloved aspects of the Upper School curriculum.
The Nicholas Athletic Center is the hub of Grade 6-12 Athletics. It includes an ice hockey rink, indoor tennis courts, basketball/volleyball courts, an indoor rowing tank, and a fitness room. The NAC is also where Graduation takes place each June, in addition to weekly student assemblies.

The BB&N Boathouse is located across the street from the Upper School campus, is located on one of the prime spots on the world-famous Charles River. It is the perfect launching space for the BB&N Crew program, and also offers incredible views of the Head of the Charles Regatta each October.
The Pratt Building houses the BB&N College Counseling Office on its first floor.
The Smith Wing is home base for the Upper School Science Department, with a number of classrooms and laboratories on its two floors.
